NJ newspaper reports on judge misconduct in 3d Cir.

A New Jersey Star-Ledger article titled Immigrants cite judicial discourtesy discusses some of the rulings that the Third Circuit has rendered against improper conduct by immigration judges. The article also defends the judges named as hard-working and that remedial measures have been taken.

Nevertheless, it quoted the Third Circuit's concern about "a disturbing pattern of immigration judge misconduct," a concern that goes beyond any one or two judges mentioned in the article.

Update: the New York Times printed an article about immigration judge misconduct in asylum cases nationwide on December 26, 2005. It mentioned the Wang case from the Third Circuit.
